A delicious apple pie combining sweet and tart apples with vanilla-flavored mascarpone for a unique taste.

Ingredients:
- 4-5 apples (various sweetness levels)
- 1 dl sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 pre-made pie crust (e.g., puff pastry)
- 250 g mascarpone cheese
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 egg (for brushing)
Instructions:
1. Peel and slice the apples. In a bowl, mix with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Let marinate for about 15 minutes.
2. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish. Prick the bottom with a fork.
3. Evenly spread the apple mixture over the pie crust.
4. Bake the apple pie at 200°C (392°F) for about 30-35 minutes, until the apples are soft and the crust is golden brown.
5. Meanwhile, prepare the vanilla mascarpone. In a bowl, mix mascarpone, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until smooth.
6. Allow the pie to cool slightly before serving. Serve the pie with the vanilla mascarpone on the side.
