Ingredients:

- 600 g Scottish venison meat
- 50 g butter
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 300 ml beef stock
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 800 g potatoes
- 100 ml cream
- 50 g butter for mashed potatoes

Instructions:

1. Peel and chop the potatoes. Boil them in salted water until tender.
2. Meanwhile, chop the onion and garlic. Heat the butter in a large pan and sauté the onion and garlic until golden brown.
3. Add the venison to the pan and sear until nicely browned.
4. Pour the beef stock into the pan and add the rosemary. Simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes, until the meat is tender.
5. Drain the boiled potatoes and mash them. Add the cream and butter, mixing until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Serve the venison dish alongside the mashed potatoes.
