This delicious and rich creamy chicken pasta is quick to prepare and perfect for a weekday dinner. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 400 g chicken fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 200 ml cooking cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a little pasta water.
2. Cut the chicken fillets into strips. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the chicken strips to the skillet and cook until they are done and have a nice color. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
4. In the same pan, add the chopped onion and crushed garlic. Sauté until the onions are softened.
5. Pour the cooking cream into the pan and mix well. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until the cheese has melted. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little reserved pasta water.
6. Return the cooked chicken to the pan and mix. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce and mix well.
8. Serve the dishes garnished with fresh parsley.
