Ingredients:
- 8 medium carrots
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Butter or olive oil
- 1/2 beef broth cube
- Nutmeg
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Chopped parsley
Instructions:
1. Wash and peel the carrots.
2. Boil the carrots in salted water for a few minutes until slightly softened. Drain and let cool.
3. Wrap each carrot in a slice of bacon and place them on a baking sheet.
4. Melt butter or olive oil in a pan, add the beef broth cube and a pinch of nutmeg. Pour the mixture over the bacon-wrapped carrots.
5. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over the carrots.
6. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for about 20-25 minutes, until the bacon is crispy.
7. Season with salt and black pepper. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
