A delicious twist on the classic croissant, filled with crispy bacon and a kick of chili mayo. Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 4 croissants
Ingredients:
- 1 can of Danerolles croissant dough
- 4 slices of bacon
- Chili mayonnaise
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp milk
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
2. Open the Danerolles croissant dough and cut it into triangles along the perforated lines.
3. Cook the bacon slices in a skillet until they are slightly crispy.
4. Take one croissant triangle and place two slices of bacon on the wider end.
5. Add a drizzle of chili mayonnaise on top of the bacon.
6. Roll the croissant carefully from the wide end to the tip.
7. In a bowl, whisk together the egg and milk, then brush the mixture over the croissant surface.
8. Bake the croissants in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
9. Allow the croissants to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
