Ingredients:
- 2 dl rolled oats
- 1 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100 g butter
- 0.5 dl milk
- 150 g bacon
- 200 g mushrooms (e.g., button mushrooms)
- 1 onion
- 2 eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
2. In a skillet, cook the bacon and onion until the bacon is crispy. Add the chopped mushrooms and sauté for a few more minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
3. In a bowl, combine the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, and baking powder.
4. Melt the butter and mix it with the oat mixture. Add the milk and stir until a smooth dough forms.
5. Press the dough into the bottom and up the sides of a pie dish.
6. Spread the bacon and mushroom mixture evenly over the dough.
7. Beat the eggs and pour them over the filling.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the pie is golden brown.
9. Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
