Serving Size: 12 pies
Ingredients:
- 250 g puff pastry- 200 g chanterelle mushrooms (or other mushrooms)
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 150 g sour cream
- Fresh thyme
- Salt and pepper
- Oil for frying
- 1 egg (for brushing)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan, add the onions and garlic, and sauté until soft.
4. Add the chopped chanterelle mushrooms to the pan and cook until the moisture evaporates. Season with salt, pepper, and fresh thyme.
5. Roll out the puff pastry into a thin sheet and cut out circles (about 10 cm in diameter).
6. Place a spoonful of the mushroom filling in the center of each circle and add a teaspoon of sour cream on top.
7. Fold the pastry circles in half and pinch the edges tightly to seal. Brush the tops with the egg mixture.
8. Bake the pies in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
