- 200 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 300 g all-purpose flour
- 1 dl milk
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
- Powdered sugar for decoration
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a cake pan.
2. In a mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the batter, alternating with the milk.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
6. Bake in the oven for about 30-40 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
