Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 250 g mascarpone cheese
- 150 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 150 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 200 g fresh berries (e.g., black or red currants)
- 50 g butter (for greasing)
Instructions:
1. Melt the dark chocolate in a water bath or microwave and let it cool slightly.
2. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add the mascarpone cheese and melted chocolate to the egg-sugar mixture and mix well.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour and baking powder. Gradually add this dry mixture to the chocolate mixture and stir until smooth.
5. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
6. Sprinkle the fresh berries on top of the batter.
7. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 30-35 minutes, or until the cake is cooked through.
