Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
2. Add the sugar to the melted chocolate mixture and mix well.
3. Crack the eggs into the mixture one at a time, stirring well after each addition.
4. Sift in the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt into the mixture. Gently fold until all ingredients are combined.
5. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
6. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cake is set. Check for doneness with a toothpick; the cake should be moist but not raw.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving. You can dust it with powdered sugar or serve it with whipped cream for decoration.
