Ingredients:
- 500 g beef tenderloin
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tbsp butter
- 300 g seasonal vegetables (e.g., carrots, broccoli, green beans)
Instructions:
1. Let the beef tenderloin sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
3. Season the beef with salt, black pepper, and minced garlic.
4. Add the beef to the skillet and sear on both sides for about 3-4 minutes until nicely browned.
5. Add rosemary and butter to the skillet, allowing the butter to melt and baste the beef with it.
6. Remove the beef from the skillet and let it rest wrapped in foil for about 10 minutes.
7. In the same skillet, add the seasonal vegetables and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender yet still crisp.
