Ingredients:
- 2 pike perch fillets - 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 100 g mushrooms, sliced
- 1 dl cream
- 1 tablespoon anise paste or 1 teaspoon anise seeds
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Fresh herbs (e.g., dill or parsley) for garnish
Instructions:
1. Season the pike perch fillets with salt and pepper. 2. Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat and add the pike perch fillets. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer the fillets to a plate to rest.
3. In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they are soft and golden brown.
4. Pour in the cream and mix well. Add the anise paste or anise seeds and lemon juice. Allow the sauce to simmer on low heat for 5 minutes until it thickens slightly.
5. Serve the pike perch fillets with the anise sauce and garnish with fresh herbs.
