A delicious and easy-to-make fried rice dish, perfect for using leftover rice.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 cups cooked rice (leftover or fresh)
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 carrot, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 100 g frozen peas
- 2-3 tablespoons soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until they are soft.
3. Add the diced carrot and bell pepper, cooking for another few minutes.
4. Add the cooked rice to the pan and mix well.
5. Stir in the frozen peas and soy sauce, combining all the ingredients.
6. Fry the rice for a few minutes until it is hot and has a nice color.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh cilantro if desired.
