Delicious and juicy, this turkey is the perfect choice for a festive table. The herb butter makes it particularly flavorful and moist.

Serving size: Serves 8-10

Ingredients:

- Whole turkey
- 100 g melted butter
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh oregano, chopped
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
- About 500 ml liquid (e.g., water, chicken broth, or white wine)
- Kitchen twine

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F).
2. Place the turkey on a shallow roasting pan with a rack and tie the legs together with kitchen twine.
3. In a bowl, mix the melted butter, parsley, rosemary, oregano, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture all over the turkey's surface.
4. Pour your chosen liquid into the bottom of the pan and place the turkey in the oven.
5. Baste the turkey every 30-40 minutes during roasting.
6. The cooking time is about 40 minutes per kilogram of turkey weight. Ensure the internal temperature of the turkey reaches at least 74°C (165°F) at the thickest part before serving.
