Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 400 g chicken fillets
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200 ml cream
- 100 ml chicken or vegetable broth
- 100 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and set aside.
2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
3. Cut the chicken fillets into strips.
4. Heat olive oil in a skillet and add the onion and garlic. Sauté until soft.
5. Add the chicken strips to the skillet and cook until they are done. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Pour the cream and broth into the skillet, mix well, and let simmer for a few minutes.
7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir all the ingredients together. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until the cheese melts.
8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
