Ingredients
- 400–500 g peanuts - Salt to taste
- (1–2 tbsp canola oil, if needed)
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F).2. Spread the peanuts on a baking sheet and roast them for about 15 minutes, until they are slightly colored but not burnt.
3. Allow the roasted peanuts to cool for a moment on the baking sheet.
4. Pour the cooled peanuts into a food processor.
5. Blend the peanuts in the processor for 10–20 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed.
6. If the peanuts do not become soft enough, you can add 1–2 tablespoons of canola oil to help with blending.
7. Add salt to taste and blend for a moment longer.
8. Transfer the finished peanut butter to a jar and store it in the refrigerator.
