Ingredients:

- 400 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti)
- 150 g bacon or pancetta
- 2 eggs
- 100 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Be careful not to overcook.
2. Meanwhile, heat a skillet over medium heat and add the bacon or pancetta. Cook until crispy. Add the chopped garlic and sauté for one more minute.
3. Once the pasta is cooked, transfer it to the skillet with the bacon. Toss well to combine and let the pasta absorb the flavors.
4. In a bowl, crack the eggs and mix in the grated Parmesan cheese. Add salt and black pepper to taste.
5. Remove the skillet from heat and quickly add the egg mixture to the pasta. Stir swiftly to ensure the eggs lightly cook and create a creamy sauce.
6. Serve immediately with fresh parsley on top if desired.
