Pulled Pork with Tomato-Chili Sauce

A delicious pulled pork dish slow-roasted in the oven, served with sautéed onions and a spicy tomato-chili sauce. Perfect for tacos or on bread. Preparation Time: 4 hours
Serving Size: 4-6 people
Ingredients:
- 1.5 kg pork shoulder - 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 onions
- 100 ml tomato-chili sauce
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F). 2. Season the pork shoulder with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Rub the spices well into the meat.
3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet and sear the pork shoulder on both sides until browned.
4. Transfer the meat to a roasting pan and cover with foil. Roast in the oven for about 4 hours or until the meat is tender.
5. Remove the meat from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes. Shred the meat using your fingers.
6. Sauté the onions in the skillet until golden brown.
7. Serve the pulled pork with the sautéed onions and tomato-chili sauce.
