Green Bacon Pasta

A delicious and quick pasta dish packed with green vegetables and bacon. This pasta can be made conveniently with pantry staples and is sure to please everyone! Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 2-3 servings
Ingredients:
- 5 slices of bacon, diced
- ½ small zucchini, diced
- 2 dl organic cooking cream
- ½ dl frozen peas
- 3-4 green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- A couple of grinds of black pepper
- ½ tsp dried basil
- Parmesan cheese
- Arugula
- Pasta (Barilla Piccolini Zucchini & Spinach)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions (about 6 minutes).
2. In a pan, brown the diced bacon.
3. Add the zucchini and sauté for about a minute.
4. Pour in the cooking cream and season with Dijon mustard, black pepper, and basil.
5. Add the frozen peas to the bubbling sauce so they can thaw and warm up.
6. Turn off the heat and stir in the chopped green onions.
7. Mix the sauce with the cooked pasta.
8. Serve the pasta on plates, grate fresh Parmesan cheese on top, and finish with arugula.
9. Enjoy immediately!
