This super healthy seed bread is perfect for breakfast. It's easy to make and packed with nutrients! Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 10 slices
Ingredients:
- 2 dl water
- 1 dl oil (e.g., canola or olive oil)
- 1 dl chia seeds
- 1 dl flaxseeds
- 1 dl sunflower seeds
- 1 dl pumpkin seeds
- 2 dl rolled oats
- 2 dl whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
2. In a large bowl, mix together the water and oil.
3. Add chia seeds and flaxseeds, stir, and let sit for about 10 minutes to swell.
4. Incorporate sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, rolled oats, whole wheat flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix until a smooth dough forms.
5. Pour the batter into a loaf pan lined with parchment paper and smooth the top.
6. Bake in the oven for about 40-45 minutes, until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
7. Allow the bread to cool before slicing.
