A comforting and hearty sauce made with sausages and mushrooms, perfect for serving over potatoes or pasta.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 400 g sausages
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 onion
- 170 g mushrooms
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 3 dl water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Peel and dice the onion into small cubes.
2. Slice the mushrooms.
3. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat and add the onions. Sauté the onions for about 5 minutes until they are soft.
4. Add the sausages to the pan and cook for a few minutes until they start to brown.
5. Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
6. Sprinkle the flour over the mixture and stir well.
7. Pour in the water and mustard, and stir until the sauce thickens.
8. Season with salt and pepper. Let it simmer on low heat for about 5-10 minutes.
9. Serve the sauce over potatoes or pasta.
