Ingredients:

- 2 cups cooked chickpeas
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Oil for frying

Instructions:

1. Mash the chickpeas with a fork or in a blender until smooth.
2. In a bowl, add the oats, onion, garlic, carrot, bell pepper, soy sauce, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
3. Shape the mixture into about 8 patties.
4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
5. Serve warm with salad or bread.
