A delicious no-bake energy snack perfect for workouts, packed with fiber and superfoods like baobab powder and chia seeds.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 6 large energy balls
Ingredients:
- 2 dl muesli (e.g., fruit-nut)
- 2 dl rolled oats
- 50 g honey
- 1 squeezed orange with pulp or 1.25 dl orange juice
- 1 tbsp chia powder (or chia seeds)
- 1 tbsp baobab powder
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp cocoa nibs
- 25 g peanut butter (e.g., Utekram)
- 1 tsp MCT oil
- A pinch of salt
- About 3 tbsp almond flakes for coating
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix all ingredients together (except for the cocoa nibs).
2. Blend the mixture slightly with an immersion blender, but keep it coarse.
3. Stir in the cocoa nibs.
4. Shape the mixture into about 6 large balls.
5. Roll the balls in almond flakes.
6. Place the balls in a container and store them in the refrigerator until ready to use.
