Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 300 g chicken breast fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a little cooking water.
2. Cut the chicken breast fillets into strips.
3. Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are fully cooked and golden brown.
4. Add the chopped garlic to the pan and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
5. Pour the cream into the pan and stir well. Let it simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
6. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese and season with salt and black pepper.
7. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and mix all the ingredients well. If needed, add a little reserved cooking water to make the sauce creamy.
8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
