These tasty vegetable patties are the perfect addition to summer grilling or a light lunch. Easy to make and full of flavor! Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 patties
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cooked black beans- 1 cup oats
- 1/2 cup grated carrot
- 1/2 cup chopped red onion
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Mash the black beans in a bowl using a fork or a potato masher until smooth.2. Add oats, grated carrot, chopped red onion, crushed garlic, soy sauce, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
3. Shape the mixture into 4 patties.
4. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
5. Serve warm with a salad or bread.
