Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 400 g chicken breast
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Fresh basil (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and set aside.
2. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
4. Cut the chicken breast into strips and add to the pan. Cook until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
5. Pour the cream into the pan and mix well. Let it simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the pan, stir, and heat through for a moment.
7. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper.
8. Serve the portions garnished with fresh basil.
