A classic and delicious addition to white fish, perfect with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. This retro recipe takes you on a flavorful journey back in time.

Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 40 g butter
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 5-6 dl warm milk
- 3 boiled eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- A pinch of white pepper
- A handful of chopped dill
Instructions:
1. Heat the milk in the microwave until slightly warmer than body temperature.
2. Boil the eggs for about 10 minutes, then cool and peel them.
3. Melt the butter in a saucepan and sprinkle in the flour. Mix well and bring to a boil.
4. Gradually add the warm milk while continuously whisking to prevent the milk from burning.
5. Simmer the sauce slowly, stirring constantly until it thickens, and allow it to boil for a couple more minutes.
6. Add the chopped dill, salt, and white pepper, and taste for seasoning.
7. Mash the boiled eggs with a fork and stir them into the sauce.
Serve the egg sauce over fried fish fillets, with mashed potatoes and coleslaw on the side.
