Ingredients
- 8 potatoes, sliced- 2 carrots, sliced
- 200 g celery root, sliced
- 100 g swede, sliced
- 2 onions, sliced
- 300 g vendace, salted or fresh
- 2 dl cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter or oil for greasing the baking dish
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).2. Grease a baking dish with butter or oil.
3. Layer the sliced potatoes at the bottom, followed by the carrots, celery root, and swede in layers.
4. Add the sliced onions on top of the vegetable layers.
5. Season the layer with salt and pepper.
6. Place the vendace on top of the vegetables.
7. Pour the cream evenly over the dish.
8. Cover the dish with foil and bake in the oven for about 40 minutes.
9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the top is beautifully golden brown.
10. Let it cool for a moment before serving.
