A classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:

- 400g spaghetti
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 100ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to the package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
4. Add the red chili flakes and stir for another minute.
5. Once the spaghetti is done, reserve 1 cup of pasta water and then drain the pasta.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic and chili oil. Toss to coat the pasta evenly. If the pasta seems dry, add some reserved pasta water as needed.
7. Season with salt to taste and toss in chopped parsley.
8. Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
