A delicious twist on traditional lasagna using wonton wrappers, filled with savory ground beef sauce and creamy cheese sauce. Perfect for a fun appetizer or a unique dinner option.

Serving Size: 12 mini lasagna cups

Ingredients:

- 2 packages wonton wrappers
- 1 batch ground beef sauce*
- 1 batch cheese sauce**
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Muffin tin
- Muffin cups
- Cooking spray
- Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F). Grease the muffin cups with cooking spray and place them in the muffin tin.
2. Prepare the ground beef sauce and cheese sauce according to the instructions below.
3. Open the wonton wrapper package and place two wrappers in each muffin cup, overlapping them diagonally.
4. Spoon a tablespoon of ground beef sauce into each cup, followed by a tablespoon of cheese sauce.
5. Layer another wonton wrapper on top, and repeat the process with more ground beef and cheese sauce.
6. Add one final wonton wrapper, topping it with a little ground beef sauce and cheese sauce.
7. Fold the edges of the wonton wrappers over the top and drizzle with a bit more cheese sauce, then sprinkle some shredded cheese on top.
8. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.

Ground Beef Sauce:

- 2 tablespoons cooking oil + a small knob of butter
- 1 carrot, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- ½ leek, chopped
- 400 g ground beef or chicken
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 can (400 g) crushed tomatoes
- 2 dl water
- ½ beef/chicken bouillon cube
- Garlic powder, to taste
- Dried basil, to taste
- Dried thyme, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
*Instructions for Ground Beef Sauce:* Sauté the carrot, onion, and leek in the oil and butter mixture. Add the ground meat and cook until browned. Stir in the tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, water, and seasonings. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.

Cheese Sauce:

- 30 g butter
- 30 g all-purpose flour
- 5-6 dl milk
- Salt, to taste
- White pepper, to taste
- 75 g shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or maasdam)
*Instructions for Cheese Sauce:* Melt the butter in a saucepan, then whisk in the flour until smooth. Gradually add the milk, stirring continuously. Cook for about 10 minutes until thickened, then season and stir in the cheese until melted.
