recipe

Delicious and spicy pork-filled wonton wrappers, perfect as an appetizer or snack for parties.
Preparation Time: 40 minutes
Serving Size: 4-6

Ingredients:

- 200 g ground pork
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp minced ginger
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 tsp chili powder (or to taste)
- 1 green onion, finely chopped
- 12-15 wonton wrappers
- Oil for frying

Instructions:

1. In a bowl, mix together the ground pork, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, ginger, garlic, chili powder, and green onion until well combined.
2. Take one wonton wrapper and place about a teaspoon of filling in the center.
3. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it into a half-moon shape. Pinch the edges tightly to seal, ensuring the filling doesn’t leak out.
4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the wontons until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes.
5. Transfer the fried wontons to a paper towel to drain excess oil.
6. Serve warm with a dipping sauce.
