Ingredients
- 300 g wonton dumplings - 5 whole star anise
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1.5 liters chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
- 1 kg cabbage, chopped
- Salt to taste
Instructions
1. Heat the cooking oil in a large pot over medium heat. 2. Add the chopped cabbage and crushed garlic to the pot. Sauté for a moment until the cabbage softens slightly.
3. Pour the chicken broth into the pot and add the five-spice powder and star anise.
4. Allow the soup to simmer on low heat until the cabbage is tender, about 10-15 minutes.
5. Season the soup with salt to taste.
6. Finally, add the wonton dumplings to the soup and cook for a few more minutes until the dumplings are cooked through.
7. Serve hot.
