Ingredients:
- 400 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 200 g fresh mushrooms
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a little cooking water.
2. Chop the onion and garlic into small pieces.
3. Slice the mushrooms.
4. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
5. Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook until golden brown.
6. Pour the cream into the pan and mix well. Let it simmer for a few minutes.
7. Combine the cooked pasta with the mushroom sauce. Add reserved pasta water as needed for a creamy consistency.
8. Grate the Parmesan cheese into the pasta and stir to combine.
9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
10. Serve the dish topped with fresh parsley.
