Delicious Middle Eastern-inspired spicy meatballs, perfect as a side dish for hummus and baba ghanoush.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4

Ingredients:

- 500 g ground beef (or chicken)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg
- 1 dl breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Oil for frying

Instructions:

1. In a bowl, combine the ground meat, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, egg, breadcrumbs, and parsley.
2. Shape the mixture into small round meatballs.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
4. Fry the meatballs for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they are nicely browned and cooked through.
5. Serve warm with hummus and baba ghanoush.
