- 100 ml milk
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 150 g grated cheese (e.g., Emmental or Cheddar)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp butter (for greasing the dish)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds. 2. Grease a baking dish with butter.
3. In a bowl, mix together cream, milk, crushed garlic, salt, and pepper.
4. Layer the potato slices in the dish, pouring the cream mixture over them as you go.
5. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top of the potatoes.
6. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 40 minutes.
