A delicious chicken sauce that pairs perfectly with rice or pasta. Preparation time is about 30 minutes and serves 4.Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breast fillets (or cut into strips)
- 4 cups water
- 1 medium onion
- ½ red bell pepper
- ¾ chicken bouillon cube
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup cream (optional)
Instructions:
1. Peel and chop the onion and bell pepper.
2. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat and add the onion. Sauté for about 3 minutes.
3. Add the chicken fillets to the pan and cook until they are nicely browned.
4. Add the bell pepper and continue to sauté for a few more minutes.
5. Pour in the water and add the chicken bouillon cube. Stir well.
6. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes.
7. If you prefer a creamy sauce, add the cream and stir. Let it simmer for a few more minutes.
8. Serve hot with rice or pasta.
