Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli) - 2 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve some of the cooking water. 2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and slice into strips.
3. Add the crushed garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Pour the cream into the skillet and mix well. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until the cheese melts.
5. Add the cooked chicken strips and pasta to the sauce. Mix well, adding a little reserved cooking water if needed for a pleasant consistency.
6. Season with salt and black pepper. Serve with fresh basil on top.
