Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., fusilli or penne)
- 250 g chicken fillets
- 2 dl cream
- 1 dl chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 small onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
- Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and set aside.
2. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
3. Cut the chicken fillets into strips.
4. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic, and sauté until softened.
5. Add the chicken strips to the pan and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
6. Pour in the cream and broth, mix well, and let the sauce simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
7. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and stir to combine all ingredients.
8. Season with salt and pepper. Serve warm, garnished with parsley and grated Parmesan if desired.
