A delicious and colorful paella perfect for hot summer days, bursting with flavor and the essence of Spanish culture.

Ingredients:
- 2 dl rice (e.g., paella rice)
- 4 dl chicken broth
- 200 g shrimp
- 200 g chicken breast, diced
- 100 g chorizo sausage, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tsp saffron
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 100 g peas (frozen)
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Heat olive oil in a large paella pan or skillet over medium heat.
2. Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
3. Add chicken and chorizo, cook until the chicken is done.
4. Stir in the bell peppers and cook for a few more minutes.
5. Add rice to the pan and mix well, allowing the rice to absorb the flavors.
6. Pour in the chicken broth, add saffron and paprika. Season with salt and pepper.
7. Let the paella simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes, until the rice is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
8. Top the paella with shrimp and peas, cover the pan, and let it sit for another 5 minutes.
9. Finish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
