A simple, delicious, and hearty sausage stew enriched with the depth and sweetness of cabbage. Preparation time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:
- 400 g sausage (e.g., smoked sausage or chorizo)- 1 small cabbage (about 400 g), shredded
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 400 ml vegetable or meat broth
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sautéing until soft.2. Add the sausage and cook until browned.
3. Stir in the diced potatoes and cook for a few minutes.
4. Add the shredded cabbage, broth, thyme, and paprika. Mix all ingredients well.
5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat. Cover and simmer for about 30 minutes, until the potatoes and cabbage are tender.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
