A hearty meat and sausage stew perfect for cold days. Easy to prepare and satisfying for the whole family.
Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 400 g boneless beef (chuck or round)
- 4 sausage links, chopped
- 4 small yellow onions, sliced
- 8 young carrots, chopped
- 500 ml canned crushed tomatoes
- 400 ml beef broth
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2-3 bay leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cut the beef into cubes and slice the onions.
2. Heat the olive oil in a large pot and brown the beef thoroughly.
3. Add the onions and continue cooking until they are soft.
4. Stir in the carrots, chopped sausages, crushed tomatoes, beef broth, and bay leaves.
5. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
6. Allow the stew to simmer on low heat for about 45 minutes, until the meat is tender.
7. Remove the bay leaves and serve the stew garnished with fresh parsley.
