A hearty and comforting sausage stew with vegetables and creamy sauce.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- Butter for frying
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 2½ dl lactose-free cream
- 300 g mixed vegetable strips
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- A few pinches of pepper mix
- 1 onion
- 4 sausages
Instructions:
1. Cut the sausages into bite-sized pieces.
2. Peel and finely chop the onion.
3. In a skillet, melt butter and sauté the onion and sausage pieces until browned.
4. Transfer the cooked sausage and onion into a pot.
5. Add the vegetable strips, thyme, and pepper mix to the pot.
6. Pour in the cream and stir in the tomato paste.
7. Let it simmer gently for a few minutes.
8. Serve hot.
