Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli) - 400 g chicken breast fillets
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 100 ml chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 50 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- Fresh basil (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and set aside. 2. Cut the chicken breast into strips and season with salt and black pepper.
3. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until soft.
5. Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until they are fully cooked and golden brown.
6. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken or vegetable broth, mix well, and let simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
7. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and stir carefully. Allow to heat through for a moment.
8. Serve the creamy pasta topped with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil.
