A delicious and healthy lunch option featuring smoked salmon and creamy avocado on rye bread. Preparation time: 15 minutes
Serving size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of rye bread
- 100 g cold smoked salmon
- 50 g cream cheese
- 1 avocado
- 1/2 dl fresh herbs (e.g., dill or basil)
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Salad leaves (e.g., arugula or lettuce)
Instructions:
1. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and mash the flesh in a bowl.
2. Add lemon juice, salt, pepper, and chopped herbs to the mashed avocado. Mix well.
3. Spread cream cheese on the rye bread slices.
4. Top the cream cheese with the avocado mixture.
5. Place the cold smoked salmon slices on top of the avocado.
6. Garnish the edges of the bread with salad leaves.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy your lunch!
