A delicious salmon pastrami, perfect for holiday tables or celebrations. This recipe is easy to prepare and offers a fantastic flavor experience.
Preparation Time: 2 hours + resting time
Serving Size: 4-6

Ingredients:

- 350 g salmon fillet (cut from the thicker end)
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1-2 tbsp whole black peppercorns
- 1 tbsp whole pink peppercorns

Instructions:

1. Remove any bones from the salmon and skin it.
2. Mix the salt and sugar together, then sprinkle the mixture over the surface of the salmon. Transfer the salmon to the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
3. Wipe off any excess salt with a paper towel and cut the salmon into three pieces.
4. Crush the black and pink peppercorns, then roll the salmon pieces in the pepper mixture.
5. Sear each side of the salmon in a hot, dry pan for about one minute, just to cook the surface of the fish.
6. Slice the salmon into approximately 1 cm thick pieces and serve with salad and mustard sauce.
