Ingredients
- ½ vegetable broth cube - 1-2 onions
- ½ tablespoon lemon pepper
- ½ tablespoon dill
- 1 cup cream
- 2-3 cups barley (or barley and rice mix)
- 1 package salmon strips (unmarinated)
Instructions
1. Cook the barley (or barley-rice mix) according to the package instructions, adding half a vegetable broth cube to the cooking water for flavor. 2. Once the barley is cooked, peel and chop the onions. Sauté the onions in a pan until they are soft.
3. Add the lemon pepper and dill to the pan, and mix well.
4. Add the salmon strips to the pan and cook until they are fully done.
5. Pour the cream into the pan and mix all the ingredients together. Let it simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
6. Stir the cooked barley into the mixture and serve warm.
