Ingredients:
- 1 jar of salt-packed anchovy fillets - 4 slices of country bread
- 4 tablespoons of good quality olive oil
- Fresh parsley (optional)
- Lemon slices (optional)
Instructions:
1. Lightly toast the slices of country bread in a toaster or oven until crispy. 2. Place the toasted bread slices on a serving platter.
3. Remove the anchovy fillets from the jar and place one or two fillets on each slice of bread.
4. Drizzle olive oil over the anchovy toasts.
5. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve with lemon slices.
