A delicious lasagne perfect for the whole family, layered with savory ground beef, fresh vegetables, and creamy cheese sauce. Preparation Time: 1 hour 30 minutes

Ingredients:
- Cheese Sauce:
- 1 liter milk
- Freshly ground pepper
- 50 g margarine
- 3 carrots
- 2 onions
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- Approx. 200 g cream cheese (e.g., Olympia or Koskenlaskija herb-garlic)
- Filling:
- 400 g ground beef
- 100 ml water
- 12 lasagna sheets (regular or spinach)
- Oregano, chili pepper, and freshly ground pepper (to taste)
- 400 g crushed tomatoes
- Oil
Instructions:
1. Peel and chop the carrots and onions. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions until soft. Add the carrots and continue cooking.
2. Add the ground beef to the pan and brown it. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and chili pepper.
3. Stir in the crushed tomatoes and water, mix well, and let simmer for about 10 minutes.
4. For the cheese sauce: melt the margarine in a saucepan, add the flour, and stir. Gradually add the milk while continuously stirring. Cook over low heat until the sauce thickens. Add the cream cheese and stir until melted.
5. Grease a baking dish. Layer the bottom with beef mixture, followed by lasagna sheets, then cheese sauce. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used. Finish with a layer of cheese sauce and sprinkle cheese on top if desired.
6. Bake the lasagne at 180°C (350°F) for about 45-60 minutes, until the top is beautifully golden brown.
7. Let the lasagne rest for a moment before serving.
