Ingredients:
- 400 g chicken fillets
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 head of lettuce (e.g., iceberg or romaine)
- 1 cucumber
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 red onion
- 1 bell pepper (e.g., red or yellow)
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Cook the chicken fillets in a pan over medium heat for about 6–7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Let cool and slice into strips.
2. Prepare the marinade by mixing the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, chili powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
3. Combine the chicken strips with the marinade and let them marinate for about 10 minutes.
4. Chop the lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, and bell pepper into small pieces.
5. In a large bowl, combine the vegetables and add the marinated chicken.
6. Squeeze lime juice over the salad and add chopped cilantro. Mix all ingredients well.
7. Serve immediately or let it marinate in the fridge before serving.
