A delicious lamb gyros served inside soft naan bread, filled with refreshing tzatziki, fresh tomatoes, and onions. Perfect for dinner or weekend indulgence.

Ingredients:

Naan Bread:
- 200 ml water
- 7 g dry yeast
- 4 tbsp Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp honey
- A pinch of salt
- 550 g all-purpose flour
- Clarified butter
Lamb Leg:
- 100 ml olive oil
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- Juice of ½ lemon
- Fresh herbs (such as oregano, thyme, rosemary), roughly chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- About 700 g lamb leg
Tzatziki:
- 1 cucumber
- Salt
- Olive oil
- 1-2 garlic cloves, grated
- Lemon juice
- 200 ml Greek yogurt

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Naan Bread:
- In a bowl, combine warm water and sprinkle yeast on top. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Pour the mixture into a large bowl, add yogurt, honey, salt, and flour. Mix until smooth.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes and let it rise until doubled in size.
- Divide the dough into 8 balls, let them rise for another 30 minutes, and roll them into thin breads.
- Brush the breads with clarified butter and grill at 250°C for a few minutes.
2. Prepare the Lamb Leg:
- Mix the marinade ingredients together. Pour the marinade over the lamb and let it marinate in the fridge for about 3 hours.
- Take the meat out and let it sit at room temperature for half an hour before grilling.
- Grill the meat to medium doneness, wrap it in foil to rest, and then slice it.
3. Prepare the Tzatziki:
- Grate the cucumber and squeeze out excess moisture.
- Combine cucumber, salt, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and yogurt. Let it chill in the fridge to marinate.
4. Assemble the Dish:
- Fill the naan bread with sliced lamb, tzatziki, fresh tomatoes, and onions. Wrap it up or roll it and enjoy!
